Have you had these very same thoughts? I have wondered this for the vast majority of my life and have had many different thought processes around what the answers could be. Today I feel confident in writing on both of these questions based on my experiences and communication with spirit.
Before I was of the mindset that we are born here on earth and then when we die we go to heaven, end of story. Kind of boring right? This is why I always questioned this to be true, it is much more exciting then that! This life as we know it is just a drop in the bucket for our soul’s life journey.
What I have come to believe is that our soul never dies, so some of us have been around for a veryyyy long time! When we look at some children you may hear the saying, “that child has an old soul.” That is the metaphor humans use to describe this very truth.
There are many realms in our universe, Earth is just one of them. Here on earth you need a physical body to experience this realm, something to encase our soul. A body to experience what life as a human feels like versus just being a ball of energy. Every soul makes the decision to come to earth with a predetermined lesson or experience that they want to go through. You never come alone, you always come with spirit guides. Just like you never leave alone either, you are always with your guides. Spirit guides are like best friends you didn’t even know you had! Earth is considered the university level for the soul! You can come back many times if you choose (never as the same physical person) or as some would say, if your are smart you would stay up in heaven and enjoy! Some lessons take life times to learn!
So what am I saying? I am saying that our home is actually up in heaven or call it the universe if that term sits better with you. Our soul goes off to school in various different realms to learn and then returns back home to be joined with our creator, God.
Now on to why are we here? Like I just mentioned above we have a lesson or experience that we want to go through to educate our soul. In addition to that while we are here during this life time we are also here to be helping others! Yes, you read right! That’s it! Helping others while we are here on this journey! Helping someone cope with their own challenges, sharing your food when someone else is hungry, taking the shirt off your back to give to a stranger, putting a smile on someones face, paying someone a compliment, loving and caring for people who can do nothing for you, doing for others with no expectation of getting nothing back in return. True humility… our mission is to take care of all of God’s children while we wander this earth learning and growing together!
We are not humans, we are souls having a human experience. Let that sink in for a little…
